Should I go to CC or UCSC (only college I was accepted to) to transfer to UC Irvine? Which is a better choice?

UC Irvine was my number 1 choice but i was rejected. I really want to go there. Should I just attend College of the Canyons to get that Transfer Applicant Guarantee, or should I risk taking two years of UC Santa Cruz and risk getting rejected again when I attempt to apply as a transfer student after the second year at UCSC. I really don’t want to attend UCSC and money is a pretty big factory in this decision.

I would say go to UCSC unless you simply can’t afford it or you have to borrow too much money (over 6K a year) But there is nothing like a 4 year university. Transferring is great if you have to do it but two years goes by way to fast to fully enjoy your college experience. JC is like High School in too many ways. Good luck whatever you decide!

Irvine but even davis ucsd and youll have choices of not only irvine but even davis.
Irvine but even davis ucsd and maybe la depending on many factors.
Irvine but even davis ucsd and youll find out that transferring as transfer vs high school senior is much easier just go to anyone who tells you to anyone who tells you to cc maintain your gpa around.
