<3 asked:

I am a tourist in the OC and I cannot think of any restaurants that I could go to that are popular in Irvine.

I want a restaurant that the OC is famous for!

It used to be “Ruth Chris”, now there’s a new kid in town–”Flemming’s.” If you have noisy out of control children, forget it. The staff will kick you out kicking and screaming while the rest of the dinners applaud .In “Facist Island,” ( that’s what we locals call it, just deal.) it would be Roy’s Hawain Fusion Cuisine, a personal favorite that I get served right away in the early evening by myself when I go to the bar, seen by jealous onlookers who have not a chance at a table. They say you don’t need reservations. No you do. If your’e more than two and need a real table at a real hour on a real day you need a real reservation. If not think Native American, that will be your reservation.
