In Texas, we used a company named 3 Men Movers and it was very reasonable. Probably something like that in CA.

i have heard of pods- you load it, they move it, then they leave the box at your house till you unload it.

get a U-haul at cherry and carson, go to home depot in signal hill and hire some guys at $50 bucks a day, buy them lunch first so they can sober up, then don’t pay them till it’s over or else they’l just get more beer and not move a damn thing
